I am Nicole, Associate Wealth Advisor at Stratos Private Wealth. I am a Southern California native, and I have been living in San Diego for over 20 years. I graduated high school in Maui, Hawaii and came to University of San Diego to study English Language and Literature. I graduated with both a Bachelors and a Paralegal Certificate from USD. During college, I began working full-time as a paralegal in an Estate Planning focused law firm. In 2011, I made a career switch to financial planning and investment management. I loved planning with clients, and it was wonderful to switch from planning for clients’ death to planning for their desires. I prefer to take a holistic approach to the planning work I do with clients. By understanding a client’s values and aspirations, I am better equipped to assist them to plan for all things important. I attained the CFP designation in 2020 to further my knowledge base and expertise in financial planning.
When I am not diving into new financial planning, I enjoy curling up with a good book, attending classic car shows with my husband, and spending time with my nephews and niece. My happy place is on the water, or in my garden where you can find me creating wine cork cacti
