I’m Tyler Morris, a Founding Partner and Managing Director at Stratos Private Wealth.
I lead SPW's vision, growth strategy, and commitment to delivering a highly personalized wealth management experience for clients across the country. Since joining in 2012, I have helped build Stratos Private Wealth into a boutique advisory practice focused on comprehensive planning, sophisticated investment management, and deep long-term relationships. My leadership is centered around a simple belief: wealth management should help clients use their financial resources as a tool to live more meaningful, intentional, and fulfilling lives.
When I began in this industry, building customer relationships meant making 200 to 300 calls a day. I truly value that early experience because it helped me develop my communication skills, become an active listener, and understand the importance of establishing genuine connections. I earned my degree from San Diego State University and hold both the CPWA® (Certified Private Wealth Advisor®) and CIMA® (Certified Investment Management Analyst®) designations. I often works closely with high-net-worth individuals, business owners, executives, and families navigating complex financial decisions and multigenerational planning.
Beyond serving clients, I'm equally focused on building a culture where exceptional people can build lifelong careers. I believe that the best client experiences are created by teams that are empowered, collaborative, growth-oriented, and deeply committed to serving others at a high level.
Personal Interests
Beyond finance, I’m currently soaking in fatherhood as my wife and I raise our two daughters.
In another life, I would have been a professional golfer. I still hold a few course records around San Diego and try to play when I can(fun fact: I shot 62 during an international competition at 16!).
