I’m Shannon Dalton, Administrative and HR Assistant at Stratos Private Wealth, San Diego.
I help support the people and processes behind the scenes, bringing organization, problem-solving, and a people-first mindset to the work that keeps our team running smoothly. As ops, I create the structure and support that allow our team to do their best work.
Originally from Long Island, New York, I moved to San Diego to attend San Diego State University and quickly fell in love with the city. My career has taken me through a variety of industries, including hospitality, events, education, and now financial services.
Before joining Stratos Private Wealth, I spent five years as an elementary school teacher. Teaching strengthened my ability to communicate, stay organized, adapt to changing circumstances, and create an environment where people feel supported. I now bring those same skills to my role at Stratos, where I help support our team through HR and operational initiatives.
I enjoy being part of a collaborative, hardworking team and helping create the behind-the-scenes structure that allows our advisors to deliver an exceptional client experience.
Personal Interests
Outside of the office, you'll usually find me taking advantage of everything San Diego has to offer. I love spending time at the beach, catching up on my favorite TV shows, and going to concerts whenever I can.
I live in North Park with my partner, Zack, and our two kittens, Cami and Teddy. We enjoy exploring the neighborhood, trying new restaurants and breweries, and spending our weekends close to home.
